Tom Hennig Company is a global provider of Chartered Engineer Certificates (CEC) for used equipment exported worldwide to various countries, in particular India and China. Certain governments through their Customs Departments have regulations requiring a Chartered Engineer Certificate of Import to establish the used value of the equipment being imported and, if it is to be loaned to a subcontractor for a project or sold to an end-user, provides a paper trail that follows the equipment through its useful life. In most instances, after the project is completed, the equipment will be returned to the lending party. The Chartered Engineer Certificate (CEC) is the document that follows the equipment through this process. The documents we supply lists the equipment with its identifying part and serial number, the country of origin, the approximate date of manufacture, and its current market value in a format required by the Customs Department.
